Morrisville, North Carolina
A young town on a creek.
Morrisville is a younger town, and the typical house here was built around 2007.
Fewer than half of Morrisville households own their home, and townhomes sit alongside newer single-family houses.
The town follows the upper reach of Crabtree Creek, which feeds Lake Crabtree on the south-east side.
Lake Crabtree County Park and Indian Creek Trailhead and Park put water and trail right in town.
A new town center, planned at 25 acres, broke ground in September 2025.
Small patios, low retaining walls and entry stonework suit townhomes and newer houses, and we build all three.
Morrisville is about 17 minutes from our North Raleigh base, along I-40, Aviation Parkway and Edwards Mill Road.
We work for owners, builders and designers, and a small patio gets the same care as a full yard.

What we build here
Work for Morrisville homes.

Paver Driveways & Patios
A paver patio can fit a townhome back yard exactly, with clean edges and a base that stays level.
See pavers
Retaining Walls
A low retaining wall holds a bank and moves water past the house, which matters in a town built on a creek.

Patios & Hardscaping
Walkways, steps and landings tie the front door to the driveway and give a newer house a finished entry.

Outdoor Kitchens & Fireplaces
A built-in grill and a small fire feature turn a plain patio into the place people use after work.

The ground we build on
Ground near Crabtree Creek.
Morrisville’s core follows the upper reach of Crabtree Creek, so we think about water first.
We do not assume the ground. On each job we dig and look at what the base will sit on.
Near the creek or the lake, we plan drainage stone, weep holes and a slope that carries water away from the house.
The stone shoreline at Lake Crabtree County Park shows how well rock handles water at an edge.
On a flat townhome lot the same rule holds: grade it so rain leaves the patio instead of sitting on it.
Then we compact the base in layers, set the work and leave the yard swept.

Can you build a patio for a townhome?
Often, yes. We measure the space and plan the base and edges to fit it.
If an HOA is involved, we can give you a plan to send in.
How do you handle a yard that stays wet?
We look at where water comes from and where it can go.
Then we use base rock, drainage stone and the right slope.
The wall or patio is built to shed water, not hold it.
